Citroën made a bold statement at the 2024 Paris Auto Show with its electrified 2025 C4 and C4 X models. These French engineered vehicles bid farewell to traditional gasoline engines and manual transmissions, embracing a more sustainable future with a new 1.2-liter electrified powertrain.
Inspired by the Oli concept showcased in 2022, the C4 and C4 X underwent a design refresh that prioritized simplicity and modernity. The updated front fascia, featuring a redesigned grille and the iconic Citroën logo, complemented the streamlined silhouette.
The rear of the cars showcased striking Color Clips that added a touch of vibrancy, while the 18-inch Amber wheels provided a sporty stance. Inside, the C4 and C4 X offered a refined and comfortable interior.
The redesigned Advanced Comfort seats, featuring an extra 15 millimeters of foam, provided unparalleled comfort, while the Progressive Hydraulic Cushions ensured a smooth ride.
The latest-generation infotainment system, complete with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, and a fully customizable 10-inch touchscreen, offered a seamless and intuitive driving experience.
Citroen has revamped its C4 and C4 X models for 2025, offering a host of improvements. The cars now boast a spacious interior with best in class knee room and a flexible boot that can be expanded from 380 to 1,250 liters.
Under the hood, Citroen has introduced a new range of powertrains, including a mild-hybrid petrol engine and two electric options. The mild hybrid engine offers a balance of performance and efficiency, while the electric options provide a zero emission driving experience.
The 2025 C4 and C4 X are expected to go into production later this year and will be available for purchase early next year. Citroen has not yet announced the pricing for the new models, but they are expected to be similar to the current generation.
