Renault’s electric revival at the 2024 Paris Motor Show is marked by the introduction of the all-new 4 E-Tech crossover. Sharing its underpinnings with the recently launched 5, this model reimagines the iconic original 4 with a contemporary twist.

Its retro inspired design, featuring a boxy silhouette, vertical LED taillights, and a modern front fascia, pays homage to its predecessor while embracing a futuristic aesthetic.

A standout feature is the canvas roof, which can be partially or fully opened to provide natural light and a sense of open-air driving. Measuring 80 cm wide and 92 cm long, the roof does not compromise on headroom. For added convenience, it can be activated through Renault’s virtual assistant, Reno.

Inside, the cabin boasts a premium ambiance with a 10-inch main display, Harman Kardon audio system, and a wide range of customization options. The 4 E-Tech is available in a variety of colors, including the exclusive Ile de France Blue, and offers two-tone paint schemes for added personalization.

The Renault 4 E-Tech, a new electric vehicle, offers ample storage space with a 420-liter trunk, a 35-liter underfloor compartment, and a versatile rear bench seat. Additionally, it boasts a range of driving assistance features, making it a practical and convenient choice for daily commuting and weekend adventures.

The 2024 model is available with two powertrain options, each tailored to different driving needs. The 52 kWh battery pack paired with a 150 ps electric motor delivers a range of up to 402 km, making it ideal for longer journeys. Its 0-100 kph acceleration time of 8.5 seconds ensures a thrilling driving experience.

On the other hand, the 40 kWh battery pack paired with a 120 ps electric motor offers a more affordable option with a range of up to 300 km, suitable for shorter commutes and urban driving.

With its advanced technology and eco friendly features, the Renault 4 E-Tech is a promising addition to the electric vehicle market.

The Renault 4 E-Tech, which shares 68% of its components with the new 5, will be manufactured at the Maubeuge factory and will launch shortly. The United Kingdom will receive the first copies in mid-2025, with pricing and specifications to be announced later.
