Despite a significant decline in Infiniti sales, Nissan remains upbeat about its performance in the US automotive market for the first nine months of 2024.

The Japanese automaker has seen a slight increase in sales, reaching over 701,000 vehicles sold in the US.

To maintain this positive trajectory and expand its customer base, Nissan has implemented several strategic initiatives.

These include the launch of the new 2025 Infiniti QX80, aggressive leasing promotions for models like the Nissan Ariya, and positive reviews for the updated 2025 Kicks and Versa.

Additionally, Nissan is gearing up for the release of the all new Armada and is exploring the possibility of reviving the iconic Silvia.

To further enhance its appeal, Nissan showcased the Project Trailgater, a unique 2025 Frontier based pickup truck designed for outdoor enthusiasts.

The company’s Nissan division has also experienced increased sales across various segments, including the popular Pathfinder crossover SUV, which saw a substantial 41.4% growth in the third quarter.

Nissan is reportedly preparing to reveal a new generation of its Pathfinder SUV. While the current model has received minor updates for the 2025 model year, digital artists have been speculating about what the next generation vehicle might look like. One such artist, Dimas Ramadhan, has created a concept design inspired by the Nissan Armada.

The concept features a more aggressive and modern look, with styling cues borrowed from the larger SUV. However, it’s important to note that Nissan has already introduced a new Pathfinder model for the Chinese market, which differs significantly from the US spec version.

It remains to be seen whether the company will offer a single global model or continue to produce separate versions for different markets.
