GMC has revealed the 2025 Sierra EV Denali, a refinement of its 2024 debut edition. This year, GMC offers two battery options: the standard issue Extended Range and the carryover Max Range.
The Extended Range model, previously the exclusive Denali Edition 1, is now more accessible, starting at $91,995 or $100,495 (excluding destination fees). This represents a slight price reduction compared to the 2024 model, which started at $97,500. While the 2024 model boasted an estimated 440 miles of range, the 2025 models offer 390 and 460 miles, respectively.
Notably, only the 390-mile range has been officially confirmed by the EPA, with the 460-mile figure still pending verification. GMC has not disclosed the specific battery capacities in kilowatt-hours, but estimates suggest 170 kWh for the Extended Range and 205 kWh for the Max Range.
Both models are available in six color options, with Summit White being the standard choice. Additional colors, including Deep Ocean Metallic, Onyx Black, Thunderstorm Gray, and Dark Ember Tintcoat, incur extra costs. The 2025 Sierra EV Denali offers a blend of luxury, performance, and electric power, positioning it as a strong contender in the growing electric pickup truck market.
The GMC Sierra EV Denali, a luxurious electric pickup truck, offers a range of customization options to enhance its style and functionality. For a sophisticated look, the Moonlight Matte paint finish, priced at $3,995, adds a dark blue hue with a matte finish. The standard 24-inch wheels with a six-spoke design and machined finish, along with the Denali etching, further raise the vehicle’s appearance.
Inside, the cabin features premium leather alternative seating surfaces in After Dark (black). To optimize charging capabilities, buyers can choose from various charging options: the PowerUp Level 2 charger for $599, the PowerUp+ Level 2 charger for $1,299, or the GM Energy PowerShift charger for $1,699. The PowerUp handles up to 11.5 kW/48 amps, while PowerUp+ and PowerShift support up to 19.2 kW/80 amps.
Additional accessories include a soft rolling bed cover for $800, Cargo Management System Rails for $925, and a Napier-supplied rooftop tent for $1,999. It’s worth noting that a bed rack is necessary to install the rooftop tent. The Sierra EV Denali will be joined by the AT4 and Elevation trims in the first half of 2025, with pricing details to be announced closer to their launch.
