The Audi RS Q8 Performance, Audi’s most powerful combustion engined Sport model, is now available in the US after its global debut in June. This high performance crossover coupe, priced at $136,200, rivals the Lamborghini Urus in terms of power and performance.
Its twin turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine generates 631 horsepower and 627 pound feet of torque, propelling the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 190 mph. The RS Q8 Performance features an eight-speed automatic transmission, quattro all wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, and other advanced technologies.
The 2025 Audi RS Q8 Performance, a high performance SUV, boasts a range of impressive features including HD Matrix LED headlights with laser light, digital daytime running lights, OLED taillights, and a selection of nine exterior paint finishes. The car also features matte gray accents, 22-inch alloy wheels (upgradeable to 23-inch), Alcantara upholstery with contrast stitching, and Audi’s 12.3-inch virtual cockpit.
Priced at approximately $100,000 less than the Lamborghini Urus S, the RS Q8 Performance offers a compelling alternative to its Italian counterpart. While the Urus S boasts slightly higher power output and marginally quicker acceleration, the RS Q8 Performance delivers comparable performance and a luxurious interior.
Deliveries of the RS Q8 Performance are expected to begin before the end of the year, positioning it as the top model in the 2025 Q8 lineup. The lineup also includes the base Q8 with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and the SQ8 with a 4.0-liter V8, offering a range of performance and luxury options to suit various preferences.
