Karma, the automaker that emerged from the remnants of Fisker Automotive, has introduced its latest model, the Karma Invictus. This vehicle serves as a performance-oriented variant of the Karma Revero sedan, but it has a lineage that traces back through the Karma GS-6 to the original 2012 Fisker Karma. While the Invictus retains much of the Revero’s styling, it incorporates unique features designed to enhance its performance capabilities.

A standout feature of the Invictus is its extensive use of carbon fiber, which contributes to both its lightweight construction and its sporty aesthetic. The car is equipped with a carbon-fiber hood, roof, rocker panels, trunklid, and spoiler. Additionally, the front fenders are made from carbon fiber and feature louvers to relieve air pressure in the wheel arches. These design choices are intended to improve aerodynamics and reduce weight, essential factors for optimizing performance.

To further improve handling, Karma has integrated advanced suspension technology inspired by motorsports. The Invictus boasts coil-over suspension systems from Öhlins, paired with springs from Swift. This setup aims to provide enhanced responsiveness and better control, with Karma highlighting that the steering has been refined for more direct feedback and predictability during high-speed cornering.

Powering the Invictus is a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with two electric motors positioned on the rear axle. This system delivers a robust output of 536 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque, ensuring a dynamic driving experience. However, the production of the Invictus will be limited to just 30 units, and as of now, Karma has not released information regarding pricing or a timeline for deliveries of this exclusive model.
