The Shelby Baja Raptor SuperCrew, a formidable off road truck, recently failed to sell at auction despite its impressive modifications and unique Avalanche colorway. This particular 2023 model, with only 5,000 miles on the clock, was listed for $142,625 but only garnered a top bid of $92,200.

While the owner, a California dealer, eventually pulled the listing after refusing a $50,000 discount, the incident highlights the fluctuating market for high-performance vehicles, even those as coveted as the Shelby Baja Raptor.

This truck, dubbed the “most polished off-road truck to enter the Shelby stable,” boasts a range of upgrades that enhance both its appearance and performance. From the custom Baja front bumper with integrated lighting to the power-adjustable 50-inch LED light bar, every detail is designed for off-road dominance.

The 18-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, along with two matching spares, further solidify its off-road capabilities. Inside, the truck offers modern conveniences like a dual-pane sunroof, power tailgate, and a rearview camera, ensuring comfort and practicality.

The Shelby F-150 Super Snake is a beast both inside and out. The interior is a luxurious blend of performance and style, featuring a leather-wrapped steering wheel with red accents and paddle shifters, serialized dashboard plaque, and black leather bucket seats with gray and red accents.

The seats are not only stylish but also functional, offering heating, ventilation, and power adjustments. Carbon fiber trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable pedals, a wireless charging pad, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system complete the interior package.

Under the hood lies a twin-turbocharged 3.5 liter V6 EcoBoost engine that has been tuned to deliver 525 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque. This increased power output is achieved through an ECU tune, oversized intake tube, aluminum intercooler, and a custom exhaust system that gives the F-150 a menacing growl. Power is sent to either the rear or all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
