1. Aehra SUV
The debut model from the Italian electric vehicle startup Aehra will be a £155,000 coupe-SUV, specifically designed to accommodate four NBA-sized passengers in absolute comfort.
Under the hood, it boasts a three-motor powertrain producing an impressive 794bhp.
2. Aehra Sedan
The Aehra Sedan serves as a more streamlined counterpart to the Aehra SUV, featuring a highly aerodynamic design that is expected to deliver an impressive 497-mile range on a single charge.
According to engineering chief Franco Cimatti, who previously played a key role in developing Lotus’s EPA platform, the primary focus for the saloon is perfecting the “basic physics” to optimize efficiency and performance.
3. Alfa Romeo 4E
The Alfa Romeo 4E is set to become a flagship model as the brand transitions to an all-electric lineup.
Product boss Daniel Guzzafame indicated that a new Alfa Spider would be “within reach” once the company has introduced five EVs, implying that its arrival is unlikely before 2027.
4. Alfa Romeo Giulia
The Giulia saloon is set to transition to Stellantis’s advanced STLA Medium platform as Alfa Romeo shifts to an all-electric future.
Despite the change, it will maintain its signature sporty nature, and in its high-performance Quadrifoglio variant, it is expected to deliver an impressive 1000bhp.
5. Alfa Romeo GTV Successor
Alfa Romeo design chief Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos has confirmed that development of a new coupé, inspired by the iconic SZ, is ongoing behind the scenes.
He suggested that if the brand’s success continues to grow under Stellantis’s leadership, the model could enter production. Additionally, he indicated that it would likely be a variant of the Giulia (mentioned above).
6. Alfa Romeo Large Electric Saloon
Alfa Romeo is set to introduce a BMW 5 Series competitor around 2027, with a primary focus on the Chinese and North American markets.
The model will be built on Stellantis’s advanced STLA Large platform, which accommodates body lengths ranging from 4.76m comparable to a Mercedes-Benz C-Class to 5.13m, the size of the previous-generation Jaguar XJ.
It also supports ride heights from 140mm to 287mm, offering versatility across different driving conditions.
Performance-wise, the platform is capable of 0-62mph acceleration as fast as 2.0 seconds and can deliver an impressive range of up to 500 miles.
7. Alpine A110 EV
The electric successor to one of the most acclaimed sports cars of the past decade will be built on a bespoke platform, as confirmed by Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo, following the conclusion of Alpine and Lotus’s joint discussions on co-developing an electric sports car.
The Alpine É-ternité concept offers an early glimpse of what to expect from the electric A110, featuring a single 239bhp motor and a battery capable of delivering a 261-mile range. However, at 1378kg, it is 258kg heavier than the current A110.
8. Alpine A310
The sleek Alpine A310 from the 1970s is set to make a comeback as an electric GT, forming part of Alpine’s expansion to a seven-car lineup.
It will be built on the Alpine Performance Platform (APP), the same foundation as the next-generation A110, which is scheduled for 2027.
However, unlike the A110, the A310 will feature a more practical 2+2 seating layout, somewhat mirroring the distinction between the Porsche 718 Cayman and the Porsche 911.
9. Alpine Electric SUVs
As part of Alpine’s expansion into new ‘lifestyle’ segments, the brand will introduce D- and E-segment electric SUVs, aiming to infuse the A110’s signature dynamic appeal into more family-friendly models.
According to Alpine’s head of design, Antony Villain, achieving this will require “various technical solutions”, including torque vectoring and four-wheel steering.
Villain emphasized the brand’s performance-driven approach, stating, “We want something high-performance, sporty and energised. We don’t want something that just goes in straight lines super-quickly.”
10. Ariel Hipercar
The Ariel Hipercar fully lives up to its name, boasting four electric motors that collectively produce an astonishing 1180bhp.
Its jet-fighter-inspired design isn’t just for show it features a gas-turbine range-extender, which works to keep its 62kWh battery charged for extended performance.
11. Ariel E-Nomad
Ariel has confirmed that this electric off-roader is “already on the way”. It will deliver performance comparable to the Ariel Nomad 2, though it is expected to come with a £10,000 price premium.
With 281bhp and 360lb ft of torque sent to the rear wheels, Ariel is confident it will achieve a 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds.
12. Aston Martin Electric SUV
Aston Martin’s first-ever electric vehicle will take the form of a high-performance SUV, utilizing battery and motor technology from Lucid.
The emerging American EV manufacturer asserts that its current-generation drive units can produce up to 670bhp while weighing just under 74kg each.
13. Aston Martin ‘Project Rambo’
Aston Martin is exploring the possibility of developing a robust 4×4 vehicle aimed at competing with the Mercedes G-Class.
The company is currently reviewing various design proposals for the model. Internally, it is reportedly referred to as ‘Project Rambo,’ a name inspired by the legendary Lamborghini LM002.
14. Audi A3 Successor
Audi is set to introduce an all-new replacement for the current A3 later this decade, utilizing the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform.
There is also a possibility that this new electric model will be sold alongside a significantly updated internal combustion engine (ICE) variant, following a strategy similar to that of the A4, A6, and Q5.
15. Audi Electric 4×4
Audi executives are planning the development of a rugged, all-terrain 4×4 designed to compete with the Land Rover Defender.
This new model may utilize the platform from Scout, Audi’s newly established sibling brand, which is set to launch an SUV and a pickup truck.
It is expected to feature steep departure angles and ample ground clearance, ensuring it can handle challenging off-road conditions.
16. Audi R8 Successor
Audi’s next-generation R8 will be built on a dedicated electric vehicle platform, which the brand is developing in collaboration with Porsche.

19. BMW 3 Series Neue Klasse
Unveiled at the Munich Motor Show, the BMW Vision Neue Klasse concept provides a first glimpse into the future of the 3 Series.
This groundbreaking saloon will lead a new generation of electric vehicles, designed to deliver a significant technological leap.
BMW promises a 30% increase in range, 30% faster charging, and 25% improved efficiency compared to current models.
20. BMW M3 Neue Klasse
The upcoming Neue Klasse 3 Series will also give rise to the first-ever electric M3, introducing a groundbreaking ‘Heart of Joy’ chassis control computer described as “crazy.”
This advanced system is expected to deliver dynamic performance that surpasses the capabilities of today’s petrol-powered M3.
Every new 3-Series sedan will incorporate the Neue Klasse styling that BMW first introduced with the 2023 Vision Neue Klasse concept.
However, the M3 will distinguish itself with flared fenders, more aggressive front and rear bumpers, and significantly larger disc brakes.
While an electric M3 is inevitable, the combustion-powered version isn’t going away just yet. Recent spy photos of a next-generation 3-Series prototype equipped with quad exhaust pipes confirm that the 3.0-liter inline-six will continue to power the new model.
BMW M CEO Frank van Meel reaffirmed this in a conversation. “We’re also working on the newest emission regulations on combustion engines.
We’re planning to keep up our combustion cars as well,” he stated. Alongside the traditional ICE-powered M3, van Meel also expressed strong enthusiasm for the upcoming electric variant.
When asked whether the gasoline and electric M3 models would carry distinct badges, van Meel replied, “Do we need to set them apart? An M3 is a promise, not an engine.” That’s a perspective we can get behind.
The redesigned 3-Series is anticipated to debut as early as the 2026 model year, but we expect it will take at least another year beyond that before the electric M3 reaches the market.
