1. Ford F-150 Lightning
The electric Ford F-150 is a major milestone, transforming North America’s best-selling vehicle for the past 40 years. The F-150 Lightning has already attracted tens of thousands of reservations, offering up to 572hp, 775Nm of torque, and a 515km range.
It features a spacious front trunk and bi-directional power, allowing it to run tools or even power a house for days. With a 900kg payload and 4.5-ton towing capacity, it combines strength and innovation, with prices starting at around $60,000 (P3.5 million).

2. Rivian R1T
The Rivian R1T, an all-electric pickup from an American start-up, hit production ahead of its more famous competitor. It offers three powertrain options: a dual-motor (526hp, 827Nm), a performance dual-motor (656hp, 1,124Nm), and a quad-motor (824hp, 1,231Nm).
Buyers can choose from three battery sizes—105kWh, 135kWh, and 180kWh—delivering up to 660km of range. It boasts ample storage, including a 330L frunk, a 350L gear tunnel, and a 200L bin under the rear bed. Combining power, range, and practicality, the Rivian R1T starts at $69,900 (P4 million).

3. Tesla Cybertruck
The Tesla Cybertruck, first announced in 2019, faced multiple production delays before finally hitting the roads in 2023. Despite initial setbacks, customer deliveries are now underway, though the promised $40,000 single-motor RWD version is still absent.
Currently available are the $79,990 dual-motor AWD (600hp, 562km range, 0-100kph in 3.9 sec) and the $99,990 tri-motor AWD (845hp, 515km range, 0-100kph in 2.6 sec). With its unconventional design and high-performance specs, the Cybertruck remains a polarizing but groundbreaking entry in the electric truck market.

4. Hummer EV
The Hummer EV is a massive, military-style electric pickup, measuring 5,486mm long, over 2,100mm wide, and weighing more than 4,000kg. With First Edition models sold out, buyers can choose between the EV2X (562hp, 10,000Nm, 500km range) and the EV3X (983hp, 15,600Nm, 613km range).
Prices range from $98,845 (P5.8 million) to $106,945 (P6.3 million). A standout feature is CrabWalk, allowing the front and rear wheels to turn in the same direction for diagonal movement. While impressive, its real-world practicality remains questionable, reinforcing the Hummer EV’s status as an extreme, eye-catching electric truck.

5. Chevrolet Silverado EV
The Chevrolet Silverado EV is an all-electric pickup built on the same platform as the Hummer EV but with a more conventional design.
It comes in three versions: WT ($57,095/P3.3 million), LT ($75,195/P4.4 million), and RST ($89,395/P5.2 million), all featuring a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive setup with 510-760hp and 786-1064Nm of torque.
It offers a range of 628-792km and supports 300kW fast charging. A standout feature is its adaptable bed, which extends from 1,828mm to 2,743mm with the midgate open and up to 3,353mm with the tailgate down, adding practicality to its impressive performance.

6. GMC Sierra EV
The GMC Sierra EV, GMC’s third all-electric truck, shares GM’s Ultium platform with the Hummer and Silverado EV. It features dual motors producing up to 744hp and 1064Nm of torque.
The Denali Edition 1 launch model offers a 708km range, 350kW fast charging (adding 161km in 10 minutes), and a 10.2kW power outlet capable of powering a home for up to 21 days.
Like the Hummer, it has four-wheel steering for CrabWalk, a 600kg payload, and a 4,309kg towing capacity. Priced at nearly $100,000 (P5.8 million), more affordable versions are expected in the future.

7. RAM 1500 REV
The Ram 1500 REV, first shown as a concept in January 2023, debuted its production version during the Superbowl halftime show. Built on Stellantis’ STLA Frame platform, it offers two battery options: a 168kWh pack with 563km range or a 229kWh pack with 805km range.
A 350kW fast charger can add 177km in 10 minutes. With 645hp, 840Nm of torque, and a 0-100kph time of 4.4 seconds, it’s both powerful and capable. It also features a 1,225kg payload, 6,350kg towing capacity, 610mm wading depth, and bi-directional charging for homes, grids, and other vehicles.

8. Scout Terra
Volkswagen’s US-only brand, Scout Motors, introduced the Terra pickup in October 2024, blending retro 1960s-’70s Scout design with modern off-road capability. Built on a body-on-frame chassis, it features a solid rear axle, locking differentials, 35-inch tires, over a foot of ground clearance, and nearly three feet of water wading ability.

A 102kWh battery provides a 430km range, while 115kW fast charging allows a 20-80% recharge in 40 minutes. Practical features include a 236-liter frunk, a 2,400mm bed with a 620kg payload, and an easy load mode that lowers the suspension by 60mm.

10. Isuzu D-Max BEV
The Isuzu D-Max, a well-known name in the pickup world, is set to enter the electric era with the D-Max BEV. This electric version will feature a 174hp motor, dual electric motors for four-wheel drive, and a 66.9kWh battery.
While details remain scarce, it will retain a one-ton payload and a 3,175kg towing capacity, matching its diesel counterpart.
Set to launch in Europe in 2025, Isuzu plans to expand to the UK, Australia, Thailand, and other markets based on demand and charging infrastructure development, ensuring its workhorse reputation continues in the EV age.

11. Alpha Wolf
California-based EV start-up Alpha has quickly progressed with its Wolf electric pickup, evolving from a 3D rendering in March 2021 to a physical model just five months later.
It will be available in three variants: the standard Wolf, extended cab Wolf+, and double cab SuperWolf, with options for single-motor 2WD or dual-motor AWD.
Alpha claims a 0-100kph time of 6.2 seconds and a 75kWh battery providing around 402km of range. With a targeted starting price of $36,000 (P2.1 million), it promises affordability, though its actual production and pricing remain to be seen.

12. Atlis XT
American start-up Atlis introduced its XT electric pickup in 2019, boasting impressive specs, including up to 805km of range and a 15-minute full charge time.
With over 600hp, 16,270Nm of torque, a 0-100kph time of 5.0 seconds, and a top speed of 193kph, it also offers serious utility—supporting nearly 2,100kg of payload and towing up to 15,000kg.
Buyers can choose between a 1,981mm or 2,438mm bed, with prices starting at $45,000 (P2.6 million) for a 125kWh battery and $69,000 (P4 million) for a 250kWh version. Atlis claims a remarkable lifespan of over 1,600,000km.

13. Edison Future EF1-T
The EdisonFuture EF1-T stands out with its solar panel roof, designed to charge the battery while parked or driving. First shown as a concept at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, it also features an optional solar bed cover for extra charging and cargo protection.
Available in three versions—Standard (single motor), Premium (dual motor), and Super (tri motor)—it offers ranges of 483km, 612km, and 724km, though battery sizes and a release date remain undisclosed.
While the solar charging system is innovative, its effectiveness in cloudier regions like the UK remains uncertain compared to sunnier environments.

14. Canoo Pickup
California-based start-up Canoo, known for its futuristic microbus and delivery vehicle, introduced the Canoo Pickup last year. Inspired by classic VW Type 2 pickups, it features an 1,828mm bed with a 610mm extension, a front cargo area with a fold-down worktable and outlets, flip-down side workbenches, hidden storage, and side steps.
Available in dual or rear motor configurations, it offers up to 600hp, 678Nm of torque, an 816kg payload, and around 322km of range. Pre-orders are already open, making it an intriguing option for those seeking a compact yet versatile electric pickup.

15. Lordstown Endurance
Lordstown Motors, named after its Ohio hometown, aimed to bring the Endurance electric pickup to market by utilizing a former GM factory. After selling the plant to Foxconn in 2021 to secure funding, production finally began in late 2022.
The Endurance is a work-focused truck with four in-wheel hub motors, a 109kWh battery, and a claimed 400km range. The company met its goal of delivering 500 units by mid-2023, but soon after filed for bankruptcy due to a dispute with Foxconn. With its assets and truck rights up for sale, the future of the Endurance remains uncertain.
