Toyota has expanded its U.S. electric vehicle portfolio with the introduction of the all-new C-HR battery-electric vehicle (BEV), which starts at US$37,000. Customer deliveries are scheduled to commence in March 2026.
The C-HR joins the updated bZ and the bZ Woodland, all of which are underpinned by Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA BEV platform. With this launch, Toyota now offers three fully electric models in the U.S. market.
Power comes from a dual-motor setup producing a combined 338 horsepower. Toyota estimates the C-HR will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
Energy is supplied by a 74.7kWh lithium-ion battery pack. On the SE trim equipped with 18-inch wheels, the EPA-estimated driving range is 287 miles, while the XSE variant with 20-inch wheels is rated at 273 miles.

Charging capability includes a North American Charging System (NACS) port that enables Level 3 DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes under optimal conditions.
An 11kW onboard charger supports Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging. Standard features include battery preconditioning and Plug & Charge functionality.
In terms of practicality, the C-HR offers 25.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. Folding the 60/40 split rear seatbacks increases total cargo capacity to 59.5 cubic feet.
The model is offered in SE and XSE trims. Both versions come standard with a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen display, dual wireless Qi charging pads, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.
The XSE grade adds a panoramic view monitor, lane change assist, traffic jam assist, and a nine-speaker JBL premium audio system.
Toyota backs the traction battery with an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty under its standard coverage terms.
