2020 Kia Rio: Convenient Car With Focus on Comfort

Today, in this article, we will discuss the all-new ‘Kia Rio.’ This car will have two models, which are Rio LX and Rio S. This will be a convenient car with so much comfort. Let’s talk about the specifications of this superb car model Rio S. Under the hood, there will be a 1.6 Liter, inline four-cylinder engine with 1598 cc displacement. Valvetrain will be a Dual overhead cam type with 16-valve. The fuel delivery system will be a multi-point injection type. The engine will generate 120 horsepower at 6300 rpm and 112 lb-ft of torque at 4500 RPM.

The intelligent variable transmission will be there. This car will be very efficient as its fuel economy is good. It will give 33 mpg in the city, 41 mpg on the highway, and 36 mpg combined. 11.9 gal of fuel capacity will be there. Regular unleaded fuel of 87 octanes or higher will be required. It will have a front-wheel-drive layout.

There will be Steel unibody all over the car. Electric motor-driven power steering will be there. The front and rear suspension will be independent MacPherson strut-type and Coupled Torsion Beam Axle type, respectively. The front suspension will come with gas shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar. The rear suspension will come with twin-tube shock absorbers. Steering wheel range will be 2.8 turns lock to lock, and vehicle turning circle will be 33.5 ft curb to curb. In the car, there will be a ground clearance of 5.5-inch and 2767 lb of cur weight with 13.7 cu-ft of rear seat upright cargo volume.

The interior includes a Rear-view monitor with dynamic parking guidance, 12V power outlets at the front console, Steering wheel mounted audio buttons with cruise control, Power windows with one-touch auto up or down for driver, power door locks, Remote keyless entry with alarm, and trunk opener, Air conditioning, Tilt steering column, Trip computer, Supervision meter cluster with a 3.5-inch display, Center console with sliding armrest and storage, Dual front cup holders, the front and rear door map pockets with bottle holder, Day and night rearview mirror, Overhead sunglasses holder, Dual map lights, Dual visor vanity mirrors, Glovebox with illumination, Trunk net, Tricot, and Woven cloth seat trim, six-way adjustable front seat belt anchors, Rear seat adjustable headrests, and 60/40 split-folding rear seat.

The exterior includes the front grille with black mesh, body-colored exterior door handles, dual body-color power heated mirrors, solar control glass, Variable intermittent windshield wipers, Heated rear glass with timer, Halogen headlights, LED headlights, LED positioning lights, Auto light control, Locking fuel-filler door, 15-inch wheels with full cover, 185/65R15 tire size, and space-saver spare tire.

The infotainment and connectivity include a 7-inch touch screen display with AM/FM radio, Auxiliary-USB-MP3 support, Bluetooth audio streaming, SiriusXM satellite radio with UVO eServices, six speakers with front tweeters, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Wireless technology, Siri Eyes Free, and USB charging ports.

The safety and security features include a forward collision avoidance assistant, Dual front advanced and seat-mounted side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, three-point seat belts for all seating positions, ABS, Electronic stability control, Vehicle stability management, Electronic brake force distribution, Hill-start assist control, Tire-pressure monitoring control with high-line, Side-impact door beams, Front and rear crumple zones, Latch system, and rear child safety door locks.

Release Date and Pricing

Well, we do not know the exact date, but the ‘Kia Rio’ will be released in December 2021. The price will be $15850 for the model LX and $16490 for model S. The exterior of the car will come with three different color variants, which are white, black, and silver, and there will be only one variant for the seat trim, which are black tricot with woven cloth.
