The Mach 1’s popularity led to the discontinuation of the Mustang GT, leaving Ford no choice but to retire it. In 1970, the Mach 1 continued its strong sales performance, accounting for 21% of all Mustangs produced that model year.

With a total production of 40,970 units in 1970, all Mach 1s can be identified by the 63C code on the door plate. This particular Mustang, although in need of assistance to return to the road, boasts similar desirable specifications.

Parked since 1995, the car is being sold by an eBay seller who acquired it in 1996. Despite its non-running condition and missing parts, the car presents itself as a solid candidate for restoration, with minimal rust damage and a largely intact body.

The original 351 Cleveland engine, while no longer operational, holds promise for restoration efforts.

The bidding for this Mach 1 has already surpassed $11,000, with a reserve still in place. Located in Hampton, South Carolina, interested buyers have the opportunity for an in-person inspection before the auction concludes in five days.
