The Kia EV6 is already a favorite among EV enthusiasts, and now a new deal makes it an even better value. Kia has introduced a $1,500 Select VIN Summer cash incentive, which can be combined with the existing $7,500 Customer Cash offer, allowing buyers to save up to $9,000 on select EV6 models in dealer inventory.

This new incentive program was detailed in a dealer bulletin and first reported by CarsDirect. Kia had already been offering $7,500 in bonus cash to compensate for the EV6 not qualifying for the $7,500 federal tax credit when purchased.

However, this new deal adds an extra $1,500 to select models on dealer lots. To take advantage of this, potential buyers need to contact local dealers to find out which models qualify and should also ask if any add-on accessories have been installed, as these can increase the total purchase price.

For those more concerned about financing rates than the overall price, well-qualified buyers can opt for 0% financing on a 60-month loan instead of taking the $7,500 cash offer. If leasing an EV6, the lease will include a $7,500 federal tax credit, which applies to all leased EVs, not just those built in the U.S. Additionally, certain states offer extra discounts for leased EVs.

Current Kia owners can also benefit from a $500 loyalty bonus on the EV6, and military buyers receive a $500 credit as well. These combined incentives make the EV6 a highly attractive option. The challenge lies in finding a qualifying model for the additional $1,500 incentive and dealing with a cooperative dealer. It’s also a good time to consider buying a Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Ioniq 6, though the same dealer considerations apply.
