Singer, renowned for its meticulous reimaginings of classic Porsche models, has been busy lately. While the brand continues to develop future products and fine tune upcoming models like the 930 Turbo, it recently made headlines by taking the 930 Convertible to the Nurburgring.

This might seem familiar, as the 930 Convertible was first revealed two years ago. However, Singer’s latest appearance at the legendary German racetrack suggests that the company may be making adjustments to the model, testing a different setup, or simply seeking the publicity that comes with such a high profile outing.

The Singer 930 Convertible in question features a striking Cariz Red paint finish on its modified carbon fiber bodywork. As the brand’s first open top model, it boasts a retractable soft top that not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also lowers its center of gravity, enhancing its driving dynamics.

While at first glance this particular 930 Convertible may appear identical to the one revealed in 2022, closer inspection reveals subtle differences. The crest on the front hood and the Porsche lettering between the rear taillights are absent. Additionally, the wheels have a monochromatic silver finish instead of the bi-tone look seen previously.

However, the front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wings, rag tops, and other key elements remain unchanged. Singer’s latest masterpiece, the 930 Convertible, is a stunning reimagining of the iconic Porsche 930. With its sleek lines, modern amenities, and powerful engine, this restomod is sure to turn heads.

Under the hood, a beefed up Mezger air cooled flat six engine delivers a thrilling 510 horsepower, thanks to forced induction with twin turbochargers and air to water intercoolers.

Drivers can choose between rear wheel drive or all wheel drive configurations, and a six speed manual gearbox provides a satisfying, tactile driving experience. For those seeking a slightly more relaxed driving experience, the engine can be detuned to produce 450 horsepower.

While Singer hasn’t released many details about production numbers or pricing, it’s safe to say that this exceptional restomod will be highly sought after.
