Porsche is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle lineup by introducing several new electric SUVs. The German automaker is set to reveal the all electric Macan, followed by the 718 EV and the Cayenne EV.
This move is part of Porsche’s broader strategy to transition towards a fully electric future, building on the success of its Taycan electric sports car. The 2025 Porsche Macan EV is the first model in this new wave of electric SUVs.
It features a powerful 100-kWh battery pack and an 800 volt electrical architecture, enabling it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes. The Macan EV comes in both single motor rear wheel drive (RWD) and dual motor all wheel drive (AWD) configurations.
The AWD models offer up to 630 horsepower and 833 lb-ft of torque, while the RWD model delivers 355 horsepower and 514 lb-ft of torque. With an estimated range of 290 miles, the Macan EV promises impressive performance and efficiency.
The interior of the Macan EV is designed with luxury and technology in mind. It features a curved 12.6 inch driver display, a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a head-up display with augmented reality capabilities.
