Bronco Owners Invited to Off-Roadeo Solar Eclipse Viewing Event

On April 8, 2024, a solar eclipse is set to sweep across North America, coinciding with one of Ford’s Bronco Off-Roadeo events, a popular gathering for Bronco owners. Ford plans to use this occasion to introduce a new trim package for the Bronco.

The path of totality, where the moon completely obscures the sun, will encompass the Bronco Off-Roadeo venue at Grey Wolf Ranch near Austin, Texas.

Bronco owners can enroll in a two-night camping experience priced at $1,995, inclusive of off-road driving sessions and five meals. Ford will unveil the Bronco Blackout Edition during this event, with only sixty slots available.

For those unable to attend during the eclipse, numerous other dates and locations are available throughout the year. Ford’s Off-Roadeo Instructors provide comprehensive guidance on maximizing Bronco capabilities.

These sessions are conducted at various sites nationwide, including Mount Postoi in Nevada, Moab in Utah, and Gunstock Mountain in New Hampshire.

Each camp caters to different levels of proficiency, ranging from Bronco Sport to Bronco Raptor, and covers essential off-road skills such as recovery techniques, proper gear usage, and line selection.

If you’re not a Bronco owner, you can still observe the solar eclipse on April 8. The path of totality will begin on Mexico’s Pacific coast around 11:07 a.m. Pacific time and traverse several U.S. states before exiting North America near Newfoundland, Canada, at 5:16 local time. NASA offers a comprehensive guide for optimal viewing times across the country.

The eclipse is expected to last approximately four minutes. Remember to never look directly at the sun; special viewing tools are required to safely observe the event.
