When Ford first showed off the 2025 Mustang GTD, they kept the inside a secret. Now, they’ve changed that and let us see inside the big Mustang. And not only that, they’re also showing us the Carbon Series and Performance packages on the same car. All of these together make the best version of the best pony car.
Let’s talk about those packages first. The Carbon Series package keeps some parts unpainted, showing the cool carbon fiber pattern. You can choose any color for the rest of the car, even a new color called Chroma Flame. You can also get painted stripes and colored brake calipers.
The Performance Package is more about making the car perform better. Ford says this package will be on the car that tries to go around the Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes. It adds things like extra front parts, a bigger splitter, and a rear wing that can reduce drag. It also includes lightweight wheels and less stuff to make the car quieter.
Now, let’s talk about the inside. It looks like a Mustang, with a big screen for the instruments and another big screen for entertainment. They both have new graphics. The steering wheel is new too, with leather and special fabric, plus some carbon fiber. It has buttons for changing how the suspension and exhaust sound. And it has cool titanium shift paddles. There are also buttons for special driving apps and lifting the front of the car. The seats are from Recaro and have a cool color scheme. And there’s a neat window to see the back suspension instead of back seats.
They didn’t say how much it will cost, but they did say how people in Europe can apply to buy one. They can go to TheMustangGTD.com and apply starting on June 13 at 1 p.m. CET (7 a.m. EDT).
