Brown said that he noticed more people from Red Bull applying for jobs elsewhere because of the problems between Christian Horner, the team principal, and the shareholders of the Red Bull company.

Horner disagreed with Brown, saying it’s normal for other teams to want to take advantage of a difficult situation.

Verstappen agreed with Horner, saying Red Bull’s success made their staff desirable for other teams. He thought Brown was trying to cause trouble with his comments.

Verstappen said he doesn’t pay much attention to these things because many of Red Bull’s important staff have long contracts with the team. However, he admitted that there are personal feelings to consider.

Verstappen has a contract with Red Bull until 2028, but Mercedes is interested in him if he becomes unhappy at Red Bull. He said even with contracts, there’s no guarantee people will stay if they’re not happy.

He thinks happiness and feeling valued in the team are important, not just contracts. In life, nothing is certain, so it’s important for everyone to be happy in their work.
