Max Verstappen pressured Russell until Russell made a mistake and went off track. Norris took advantage and overtook both Verstappen and Russell.

Rain returned during the race, causing a safety car period. Norris didn’t pit immediately, unlike Verstappen and Russell, which dropped him behind them after his pit stop.

At the restart, Verstappen led Russell, Norris, and Piastri. Lewis Hamilton moved up to fifth position.

Verstappen maintained his lead despite the changing weather conditions and a groundhog crossing the track. Norris and Russell battled for second place, with Russell briefly passing Norris but eventually losing the position.

The race had several safety car periods due to crashes involving Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, and Sergio Perez.

In the end, Verstappen won the race, followed by Norris and Russell. Hamilton finished fourth after battling with Piastri. Daniel Ricciardo finished eighth after a fierce battle for position.

Ferrari had a disappointing race, with both Sainz and Charles Leclerc retiring due to accidents and engine problems, respectively.
