Last week, The Crew Motorfest introduced the “Blackpanthaa Experience” update, offering discounts on rides like the 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, 2022 Porsche Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS, and 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR.
The latter came with various enhancements such as the Yohmhoy Neon Tire, Dark Violet Nitro, Purple Smoke, and Black Window Tint, among others. But who’s keeping track? This week, the spotlight shines on some impressive Nissan models.
Chris Forsberg and Forsberg Racing present the Driftide event, designed to challenge players’ skills throughout the week. Don’t miss out on the Summit Contest and the rewards that await. First on the shopping list is the Main Stage Bundle, featuring two stunning and high-performance rides.
The 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) boasts a performance level of 489 out of 700, featuring all-wheel drive and producing 280 horsepower. With its Transformers-inspired livery, this R34 is priced at 187,600 in-game bucks or 26,800 Crew Credits.
A Starter Pack, priced at $5, offers 45,000 CC. The Bronze Pack, costing $10, provides 100,000 Crew Credits. The $20 Welcome Pack includes 220,000 CC and an Audi R8 Spyder Motorfest Edition as a one-time purchase.
Moving up, the Gold Pack offers 360,000 CCs for $30, while the Platinum Pack provides 675,000 Crew Credits for $50. Interestingly, the Platinum Pack costs more than Motorfest itself when it’s discounted.
Lastly, the Custom Bundle, currently 30% off at 77,070 CC, unfortunately cannot be purchased with regular Bucks. This bundle includes a 1981 Creators DeLorean DMC-12 specially designed for drifting, featuring Cyan Segment Underglow, Dark Cyan Nitro, and Cyan Confettis Smoke.
While I’m not a fan of microtransactions, I can appreciate unique items when I see them, and this DeLorean DMC-12 looks ready to take flight, just like in “Back to the Future,” which is pretty awesome, to say the least.
For Year 1 Pass holders, the 2023 Forsberg Racing Nissan Z Pro Drift and 2021 Nissan “Altimaniac” are included at no additional cost. The Crew Motorfest has faced criticism on Steam recently, although the game itself is not to blame.
Players are unhappy about Ubisoft’s decision to shut down the original iteration of The Crew from 2014. Since it was an online-only game, players can no longer access it, regardless of their investment. Let’s hope The Crew 2 and Motorfest don’t meet the same fate one day.
