Kia has shared the pricing for its 2025 Sorento Hybrid model. Compared to last year, it’s a bit more expensive, starting at $38,690. This year, there are two trim levels to choose from. The base EX comes in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the SX Prestige is only available in all-wheel drive, just like last year.

Similar to last year, Kia decided to reveal the pricing and updates for the hybrid model before the naturally aspirated and PHEV versions. This is because the competition in the hybrid market has been getting stronger lately, with fewer people interested in electric vehicles.

For 2025, the pricing for the Sorento Hybrid is as follows:

– Sorento Hybrid EX FWD: $38,690
– Sorento Hybrid EX AWD: $40,490
– Sorento Hybrid SX Prestige AWD: $46,890

Compared to last year, the EX FWD model is $2,000 more expensive, while the EX AWD model costs $1,500 more than last year’s version. The top-of-the-line Prestige AWD model has a starting price that’s $4,400 higher than before. Remember, these prices don’t include the $1,375 destination fee.

In terms of features, the 2025 model has some updates in its appearance. It comes with new standard lighting elements, including Kia’s Star Map lighting at the front and rear, first seen on models like the EV9. There are also new exterior colors like Cityscape Green, Mineral Blue, Interstellar Grey, and Volcanic Sand, along with a new Dust Blue color option for the interior. Unique 19-inch alloy wheels are available.

Most features from last year’s model carry over to the 2025 version. There’s a 4.3-inch driver display combined with a 12.3-inch touchscreen on the EX trim, while the SX model has dual 12.3-inch screens with a new connected car navigation cockpit. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, along with USB-C ports in all three rows. For added luxury, the SX trim offers a suede headliner, Advanced Digital Key 2.0, and ventilated front seats.

Under the hood, the powertrain remains unchanged, with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 1.5 kWh battery and 44.2 kW electric motor. Together, they deliver 227 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed transmission. Kia claims the FWD model can achieve up to 36 mpg combined, while there’s no mention of the AWD version’s fuel efficiency yet. Expect to see the updated Sorento Hybrid at dealerships starting this fall.
