The Kia EV3 GT-Line has been spotted on the road, just a week after its debut. A YouTube channel called Infinite Run TV captured the car without any camouflage near the Hyundai-KIA R&D Center in South Korea. It seems like a great choice for people who want some extra style in their electric vehicle.

The GT-Line is part of the new EV3 lineup from Kia, introduced as the brand’s latest affordable electric car in the United States. Kia didn’t think the larger EV5 would do well here, so they decided to offer a cheaper option. The GT-Line will likely cost more than $30,000 but will still be cheaper than the EV6 and EV9 models.

When seen on the road, the GT-Line appeared to handle highway driving easily. It’s powered by a single electric motor on the front axle, giving it 201 horsepower and 209 lb-ft of torque. With its 81.4 kWh battery, it can travel up to 313 miles on one charge, though official testing by the EPA will determine the exact range.

Even though we couldn’t see much of the front in the images, we noticed some design changes on the rear bumper, adding more character to the car. It was wearing different wheels, possibly for testing purposes, but the final GT-Line is expected to have black wheels on all corners. While black looks good, many people liked the green color from the model’s debut.

The GT-Line name might sound sporty, but it mainly offers cosmetic and technology upgrades without increasing power. Unlike the EV6 GT-Line, which has all-wheel drive and 320 horsepower, the EV3 GT-Line remains front-wheel drive with 201 horsepower.

However, there are rumors of a true GT version with even more power. It might have all-wheel drive and over 400 horsepower, promising thrilling performance. The GT-Line and the rest of the lineup are expected to arrive by late 2025, with the GT possibly following a year or two later.
