Once again, Bagnaia competed against Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez in the French GP at Le Mans.

Martin won the race, extending his lead in the championship by 38 points over Bagnaia, who finished third after leading for much of the race. Marquez, who is now third in the standings, overtook Bagnaia on the final lap.

Bagnaia thinks that he, Martin, and Marquez have been the most consistent riders this season. He believes that the race in Le Mans gives a glimpse of how the championship battle will unfold this year.

He said, “We three are the most complete riders in the championship. Other riders are fast too, but in terms of speed and consistency, we are the most complete.”

Bagnaia led the race for 20 laps before Martin overtook him. He struggled in sector three, especially at Turn 9, where Marquez passed him on the last lap.

He explained, “Sector three was my weak point. Yesterday it was good, but today I wasn’t strong in corner nine, and I was losing too much time.”

Bagnaia didn’t finish Saturday’s sprint race due to a bike issue, so finishing the grand prix was crucial for him. He acknowledged the importance of completing the race, despite his difficulties in sector three.

He said, “Yesterday it was important to finish the race, considering that we didn’t do the sprint race.”
