Miller won’t be riding for the factory KTM team next year. Instead, Pedro Acosta, who has been doing great in his first year with Tech3 GasGas, will take his place. Miller hasn’t had the best season so far, with only one top-10 finish in seven races.
He’s sitting in 16th place in the championship, with just 27 points. Meanwhile, Acosta has 101 points and his teammate Brad Binder has 85 points.
Miller says his focus is on getting better results this season rather than worrying about his future. He said, “I’m not keen on signing any pieces of paper with the results I’ve had so far.”
He’s aware that there aren’t many offers coming his way right now, but he’s not too stressed about it. He wants to do better on the track before thinking about signing a new contract.
There’s news that Enea Bastianini might join KTM next year, and KTM might have four factory bikes on the grid. It’s not clear yet what will happen to the GasGas Tech3 team.
Miller has hinted that he’d be happy to join the Tech3 team if that means staying with KTM. He said, “I firmly believe that Tech3 isn’t a satellite team any more. It’s basically a factory bike that is red and we know that.”
He appreciates the work KTM has done and is committed to helping them improve. He’s ready to keep working hard and adapting to any changes that come his way.
