The winning vehicle boasts a Robin’s Egg Blue exterior, complemented by 20-inch chrome wheels, Ford x Sydney Sweeney heart bolt emblems, color-shifting LED “stars” accentuating the headliner, Sweeney’s autograph on the engine cover, and a stunning tan interior.
This configuration is currently unavailable for any new Mustang. Inspired by Sweeney’s own 1965 Mustang, fondly named “Britney,” this unique creation aimed to celebrate individuality and passion. To enter the contest, hopefuls were tasked with crafting a caption on Ford’s social media platforms, explaining how they defy stereotypes to pursue their passions.
Ford received a staggering 20,000 submissions, with 5,000 meeting the contest criteria. Brittley, the fortunate winner, revealed that she hadn’t previously reflected on her endeavors in traditionally male-dominated domains. A sous chef, game developer, and avid mechanic, she recalled learning the ropes of car maintenance alongside her father.
Upon winning the Sydney Sweeney Mustang, Brittley set out on her first trip to New York City to witness her prized possession on display. Overflowing with excitement, she shared plans to dedicate her garage to the Mustang and intends to make it her daily driver, embodying the belief that cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed to the fullest.
Despite the Mustang GT’s robust 486 horsepower, exceeding her previous automotive experiences, Brittley eagerly anticipates exploring its luxurious features, including the starry headliner for mesmerizing night drives and the comfort of dual-zone climate control.
Although Sweeney couldn’t be present in person to present the prize, a heartwarming video call between her and Brittley ensued, during which Sweeney expressed gratitude for Brittley’s infectious spirit and her role in inspiring other women to shatter barriers. Soon, the blue Mustang will find its way to Brittley’s home state of Washington, where she eagerly awaits its arrival.
