Hennessey has once again pushed boundaries, this time pitting its powerful Escalade V against a Lamborghini Huracán Evo.

The Hennessey H1000 version of the Cadillac Escalade V is already an over-the-top luxury SUV, but now, it boasts an incredible 1,005 bhp and 883 lb-ft of torque.

Curious to see how it would perform against a Lamborghini, Hennessey put the two vehicles to the test, with some surprising results.

Hennessey Escalade V vs. Huracán Evo

The Hennessey Escalade V is unlike any other SUV. Despite its size and weight, it can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

Hennessey achieved this by upgrading its engine with a high-flow supercharger, a custom camshaft, ported cylinder heads, and advanced engine tuning.

Even though it’s a large, three-row family SUV, it holds its own against the Huracán Evo, a supercar designed for speed.

The Race

In the race, the 6,200-pound Escalade V impressed right from the start, getting a better jump off the line than the Lamborghini.

Although the Huracán eventually caught up, the Escalade’s performance was nothing short of amazing for such a large vehicle. In one round, the Escalade got a head start and managed to stay ahead of the Huracán longer than expected.

Though the Lamborghini won, the Escalade’s acceleration was remarkable given its size and weight.

Limited Edition Hennessey H1000

Hennessey has limited production of the H1000 SUV to just 100 units for the 2023 and 2024 model years, and all of them are already sold out.

With its incredible power, luxury, and room for seven passengers, this Escalade V is a rare blend of family-friendly utility and high-performance engineering.

While the Huracán is still the faster car, the Hennessey H1000 Escalade V delivers an unbelievable performance, proving that even a full-sized SUV can compete with supercars.
