Gragson, who usually races in the Cup Series for Stewart-Haas Racing, will be in some Xfinity and ARCA races this year with Rette Jones Racing.
Rette Jones Racing (RJR), with some support from SHR, will have Gragson drive in a few Xfinity races. His first race will be on May 25 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It’s his first Xfinity race since the end of the 2022 season at Phoenix.
He will also race on June 29 at Nashville, August 17 at Michigan, and August 31 at Darlington. Gragson has won twice at Darlington before.
Gragson and RJR have raced together before, mostly in Super Late Model events, like the 2023 Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Florida.
Gragson said, “I’m excited to partner with Rette Jones Racing as we take on the next challenge in the Xfinity Series. Terry, Lisa, Kasey, Mackie Jones, Jonathan Aarts, and Mark Rette have played an instrumental role in my racing career and have become like family. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to compete in the Xfinity Series again and hope to pick up where we left off.”
In the past few years, Gragson has done 135 Xfinity races, winning 13 times. He got second in the Xfinity standings in 2022.
Besides the Xfinity races, Gragson will race for RJR in the ARCA West race at Sonoma Raceway in June and the ARCA Menards Series race at Watkins Glen International in September.
Terry Jones, one of RJR’s owners, said, “Noah has been instrumental in helping our Late Model program excel, but his presence thrives outside of the cockpit as he is instrumental in the growth and development of the other young drivers who funnel through our other motorsports programs. He is the perfect driver to launch our Xfinity Series program and we expect him to deliver strong results right away.”
RJR will also have Canadian Kyle Steckly racing full-time in the ASA STARS National Tour and will compete in some ARCA Menards Series races this year.
