According to the last gen of Explorer, we believe it will get an option of internal combustion engine and hybrid versions. The ICE vehicles should get a 2.3-liter turbo-four engine as the base. This engine will produce 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. An optional engine will be offered with the top trims. It will be a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. This engine can produce 365 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Both the engines will get a ten-speed automatic transmission. Also, it will get a hybrid version. The engine of the hybrid combination will be a 3.3-liter V-6, producing 318 horsepower and 322 lb-ft of torque. It is believed that these official specifications of 2023 Explorer will match these assumed figures. Ford will unveil the details in the upcoming weeks. We will update you with the official details once the Company discloses it.

The Giant Infotainment System

All the hype is about the giant touchscreen infotainment screen in the Chinese version of Explorer. It gets a 27-inch huge single-piece touchscreen infotainment display. This will be the biggest screen ever provided in a vehicle. Although you would be wondering if we have seen a 56-inch screen in Mercedes-Benz EQS, let it be clear that this screen was cumulative of multiple screens. Therefore, it was not a single-piece screen. This screen will be wrapped horizontally on the dashboard.
