NASCAR: Full Speed, the stock car racing counterpart to Formula 1’s Drive to Survive, is gearing up for its sixth season debut on Netflix next month.
Despite Formula 1’s surge in popularity in the United States, NASCAR continues to dominate as the most-watched form of auto racing in the country.
The upcoming five-part series will present 45-minute episodes focusing on prominent Cup drivers, including Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Bubba Wallace, Ross Chastain, Tyler Reddick, Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Christopher Bell.
Scheduled for release on January 30, the behind-the-scenes docuseries will revolve around the 2023 playoffs. This launch is strategically timed, just a few days before the unofficial commencement of the 2024 season with the L.A. Clash. The season officially kicks off with the 66th running of the Daytona 500 on February 18.
The trailer provides glimpses into the personal lives of NASCAR’s stars, showcasing Byron’s Lego-building hobby, Reddick’s fondness for Mario Kart, and the family dynamics of seasoned drivers Logano and Hamlin.
Additionally, the trailer features some of the most intense moments from the 2023 season, such as Preece’s dramatic rollover crash in the regular season finale at Daytona and the heated Chastain/Gragson altercation.
