Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division, has revealed a unique limited edition Bentayga paying homage to Private Jack White V.C., the esteemed founder of a renowned UK fashion brand known for its elegant coats.
Private Jack White, originally Jacob Weiss, distinguished himself during World War I for his courageous actions during the Dialah River crossing in March 1917. Despite heavy enemy fire, White’s bravery saved lives and essential equipment, earning him the Victoria Cross.
In honor of White’s valor, Mulliner adorned the Bentayga with various copper accents, including seat piping, embroidery, and bespoke features. Victoria Cross emblems are embroidered on the headrests as a tribute to White’s heroism. The vehicle’s design incorporates clean sewing lines reminiscent of the military-inspired aesthetic of Private White V.C. clothing.
The cabin features Private White V.C. lettering throughout, while cushions crafted from Lancashire-woven cashmere cloth pay homage to White’s regimental blanket stripe.
Anodized copper switches and a silhouette of the ‘Cottenham House’ factory adorn the dashboard, alongside bespoke treadplates and a bulldog embroidery on the door cards, representing the brand’s unofficial mascot.
Built upon the Bentley Azure specification, the Mulliner Bentayga Private White V.C. Limited Edition boasts a Dark Sapphire finish with Blackline Specification and rear privacy glass. The bespoke 22-inch bright machine-finished wheels feature copper accents and Private White V.C. badges, adding to the vehicle’s exclusive appeal.
While the one-off Bentayga exudes sophistication with its historical touches, it remains a bespoke creation reserved for a specific unnamed customer, who will also receive a curated collection of clothing from Private White V.C. as part of the package.
