The Ford Ranger Wildtrak, despite its capability as a midsize truck, often finds itself overshadowed by the flagship Raptor. UK-based tuner Motion R aims to address this with a range of visual enhancements, offering carbon fiber upgrades for both the exterior and interior.
The exclusive Ford Ranger Wildtrak MC Edition, limited to just 50 units, boasts a bespoke body kit made of forged carbon fiber, comprising a two-piece splitter, matching garnish on the front bumper, and a honeycomb-patterned grille and intakes.
Fender extensions accentuate the profile, complementing the 20-inch forged monoblock alloy wheels adorned with carbon accents, available in various colors.
Features include side steps, a roof-mounted “Tri-Lazer” lightbar, and a roof spoiler. Customers can opt for a satin or matte black wrap to enhance their sporty appearance further.
Inside the dual-cab pickup, carbon inserts adorn the dashboard, steering wheel, and doors, while Italian Nappa leather upholstery with Motion R embossed emblems graces the seats. The branding extends to the floor mats, while rear bed customization options include board and wetsuit storage.
Despite focusing solely on aesthetic upgrades, Motion R does not offer any performance modifications for the Ford Ranger Wildtrak.
It’s worth noting that in the UK, the Wildtrak trim is available with either a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine producing 202 hp (151 kW / 205 PS) or a more potent 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel generating 237 hp (177 kW / 240 PS).
Listings on the official Motion R website indicate that pricing for the Ford Ranger MC Edition with the 2.0-liter EcoBlue engine starts from £54,995 ($69,027), with the addition of a wrap costing an extra £5,000 ($6,284) before taxes. By comparison, the standard Ranger Wildtrak begins at £39,350 ($49,463) in the UK.
Motion R has also recently introduced similar enhancements for the Ford Transit Custom LCV, expanding its portfolio, which includes modifications for the Land Rover Defender, VW Transporter, and the Tesla Model 3.
