Marcus Rashford has decided to auction off his battered £700,000 Black Badge Wraith six months after it was involved in a collision with another vehicle. The vehicle, despite its significant damage, has garnered attention on SalvageMarket, amassing over 117 bids and pushing the current price to £154,000.
The Manchester United star is known for his love of luxury cars, owning a fleet that includes three Rolls-Royces. Apart from the damaged Wraith, his collection boasts a £390,000 Black Badge Cullinan and a rare £560,000 Cullinan Blue Shadow.
The wrecked Rolls-Royce, which met its fate outside Manchester United’s Carrington training ground last September, has now made its way to the online auction platform SalvageMarket. Bidding for the vehicle is set to close on February 26, 2024.
Despite the visible exterior damage sustained in the collision, the listing assures potential buyers that the car still starts and has only clocked 1,135 miles on the odometer.
Photos accompanying the listing reveal that while the exterior took a hit, the interior of the Mansory-tuned Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith remains largely unscathed, save for the deployed passenger side airbags.
This isn’t the first time Rashford has made headlines with his car collection. Just days before putting his damaged Wraith up for auction, he found himself slapped with a £60 parking fine for leaving his £280,000 McLaren 765LT sports car on double yellow lines.
With Rashford’s damaged Rolls-Royce now on the market, enthusiasts and collectors alike have the opportunity to bid on a piece of automotive history, albeit one with a story to tell.
