As part of HRC’s restructuring efforts initiated last year, development work on the 2024 version of the RC213V has intensified, with a focus on incorporating new components and enhancing performance.

Collaborating closely with riders Stefan Bradl, Johann Zarco, and Takaaki Nakagami, HRC aims to optimize the RC213V’s performance for the upcoming season. Recent testing at Jerez revealed promising results, including the evaluation of a new Marchesini rear wheel, signaling potential enhancements to the bike’s handling and stability.

While Bradl tested the new components at Jerez, Zarco experimented with the Marchesini wheel during the Qatar Grand Prix weekend, albeit encountering vibrations that necessitated further adjustments.

Despite initial challenges, the introduction of the ‘new’ Marchesini rim underscores HRC’s commitment to innovation and performance excellence.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to address concerns raised by rival teams regarding Red Bull’s ownership of multiple teams and its implications on financial efficiency under the cost cap. These discussions reflect ongoing efforts within the MotoGP community to ensure fairness and competitiveness across all teams.
