The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV, which had a bumpy start, is now giving good news to early buyers. Due to some software problems, Chevy stopped selling the electric crossover for a while. But now, it’s back on the market with lower prices. The prices are $5,620 or $6,520 less than before, depending on the trim you choose. If you bought one before the price cut, Chevy is offering you a refund.
Edmunds, a car website, bought one of these Blazers earlier. They got a letter from Chevrolet saying they’d get a refund. The letter said, “Chevrolet recently announced a new MSRP reduction on 2024 Blazer EVs. As a result of this announcement, we would like to offer reimbursement to customers who purchased a new 2024 Blazer EV before March 7, 2024.”
People who bought the 2LT AWD variant will get $6,520 back, and those with the RS trim will get $5,620. These discounts are on top of any other incentives that owners may have received. GM did something similar when they lowered the price of the Chevrolet Bolt.

There are more reasons to consider buying the Blazer EV now. For a few months, the Blazer didn’t qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit. So, to make up for it, Chevy added that amount as a discount. This offer is still valid for Blazers made during that time and still unsold. But Blazers made after qualifying for the tax credit again don’t get this discount.
There’s a $3,520 discount package for the LT trim and a $2,620 discount package for the RS trims. These discounts make the Blazer EV more affordable for buyers.
