Former US President Donald Trump’s Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster was sold at an auction for a huge $1.1 million. This auction took place at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction. It’s a big deal because this makes it the most expensive Diablo in the world, and it was once owned by a very famous person.

Donald Trump ordered this Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster in 1997. He chose a special blue color called Blu Le Mans, which wasn’t available for anyone else at that time. Trump got permission to use this color just for himself. He even had a plaque with his name and the year 1997 put on the car’s door. This makes his Diablo very unique.

Trump sold the car in 2002. Then, someone else bought it and later put it up for sale on eBay in 2016. It’s not clear if it was sold to someone else during that time.

The Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster is a famous car made by the Italian company Lamborghini. It has a big 5.7-liter engine that makes 492 horsepower. This powerful engine can make the car go up to 325 kilometers per hour. Compared to the regular Diablo models, Trump’s Diablo sold for much more money. Usually, non-celebrity Diablo cars are auctioned for about half the price of Trump’s Diablo, according to Barrett-Jackson.
