In the motorcycle industry, innovation is a constant, but groundbreaking advancements are rare. Dymag, a prominent wheel manufacturer since 1974, has recently introduced a revolutionary product in collaboration with Roland Sands Design.
This innovation, named the Sector Race Wheels, represents a culmination of two years of intensive design work and is hailed as a milestone in motorcycle engineering.
The Sector Race wheels boast sleek spokes, milled I beam, and a cush drive, catering to both road and track riders. What sets them apart is their tailor-made design, customized for individual bike applications, offering a level of bespoke craftsmanship rarely seen in mass-produced wheels.
Initially available in 17-inch diameter sizes, with expansion plans, the Sector Race wheels are poised to make their debut on the track mounted on a BMW S 1000 RR race motorcycle piloted by professional racer Peter Hickman. This high-profile event at the North West 200 race in Northern Ireland will showcase the wheels’ performance capabilities to enthusiasts worldwide.
While pricing details remain undisclosed, pre-orders for the 17-inch variants are already open, with deliveries expected in July. With the promise of enhanced performance and personalized design, the Sector Race wheels represent a significant leap forward in motorcycle wheel technology.
