Kia’s electric car sales are on fire! In March 2024, they sold a record-breaking number of electric vehicles – over 19,000. That’s a big 79% increase compared to the same time last year.
This is good news for Kia, even though their overall car sales were down slightly compared to 2023. Electric cars now make up a bigger slice of Kia’s total sales pie too, jumping from 4.7% to 6.9% in just a year. Kia is definitely becoming a player in the electric car market.
Kia Electric Car Sales – Q1 2024 (Preliminary)
Kia’s electric car sales numbers for Q1 2024 are a bit rough around the edges. There were delays in reporting, and some of the data (like February’s numbers) might be incorrect. Because of this, Kia isn’t 100% confident in the final Q1 numbers.
