There are many strange things seen in the sky, and people want answers. Many reports have been made by Navy pilots, governors, and even former U.S. Presidents about seeing things flying around that they can’t explain. The government has kept a lot of information hidden about these unidentified flying objects. They even hid the truth about the 1947 incident in Roswell, New Mexico, for nearly fifty years. They said it was a weather balloon, but it was actually a project called Project Mogul, which was a nuclear monitoring system for the Cold War. So, people don’t trust the government to tell the truth about UFOs.
This past weekend on HBO’s Last Week Tonight, comedian John Oliver talked about UFOs. He looked at how the government has been lying for many years and why we might not want to trust them now. He also talked about the future of UFO study.
Some of the things seen in the sky might be night vision artifacts, water droplets, or weather balloons. But it’s also possible that our government or other governments are testing new aircraft and don’t want anyone to know. And what if some of these things are actually visitors from other planets, or maybe from the deep parts of our oceans? If we’re not ready for anything, we could be in trouble because of our own pride. The truth is still out there.
Without transparency and scientific study, we may never know if Hugh Jackman comes from space.
