The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is looking into a problem with the Fisker Ocean. People are reporting that the car’s automatic emergency braking system is braking when it shouldn’t. This means the car might suddenly slow down or stop for no reason. The NHTSA got 8 complaints about this. Some even say they got hurt because of it.

The Fisker Ocean is an electric car that costs around $38,999. It has 282 horsepower and can go up to 128 mph. But this braking issue is serious. It’s dangerous because it could surprise the driver and cause accidents. Plus, it’s making people worried about a safety feature that’s supposed to help.

This isn’t the only problem with the Fisker Ocean. In the past, there have been issues with the doors not opening, problems with shifting gears, and brakes not working well. All of these problems have come up recently, and now the NHTSA is looking into them. This isn’t good news for Fisker, especially since they’re already having a tough time.

Fisker’s been facing challenges for a while. They had to delay their Pear EV car and stopped making the Ocean. Now, they’re even looking for someone to buy the company. There are some interested buyers, but nothing’s final yet. On top of that, there are reports of money and production problems in the company. Compared to all this, another recall is just a small part of Fisker’s big problems.
