Grand Theft Auto VI is coming back to Vice City, and it’s coming in fall 2025. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company, announced this in their Q4 2024 earnings report on Thursday. They said that the game, which was previously set to release sometime in 2025, will now launch in autumn next year.
The CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, wrote in the earnings report, “We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.”
This new game, the sixth in the series, will take players to a place called Leonida, which is Rockstar’s version of Florida. Most of the action will happen in Vice City, which is similar to Miami. The game will have a modern setting, unlike the ’80s vibe of the 2002 game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. In the trailer, you can see the main characters, Jason and Lucia.
