Hybrids have been doing really well for Ford this year. The CEO, Jim Farley, said at a conference that their hybrid models, especially the Maverick and F-150, are making more money than their regular cars. He mentioned that a year ago, they weren’t making enough money from hybrids, but now they are. People seem to like these hybrid cars, and Ford had its most profitable month ever because of them.

Ford is an old car company, founded over 120 years ago by Henry Ford. They’ve been leaders in selling cars like the F-150, Transit, and Mustang.

Farley thinks that features like the mobile generator on the F-150 make hybrids more attractive. This is especially true for people who use trucks for work. He believes hybrids aren’t just a temporary thing but will be around for a long time, even as electric cars become more popular.

CEO, Mary Barra, didn’t say which cars will be hybrids, but she said they have a good plan

On the other hand, GM, another big car company, is planning to launch more hybrids, but not until 2027. Their CEO, Mary Barra, didn’t say which cars will be hybrids, but she said they have a good plan.

Ford has a lot of different cars, from electric ones like the Mustang Mach-E to hybrids like the Maverick and F-150. They believe having a diverse lineup will help them stay strong in the future. Ford’s hybrid sales have gone up by 47% this year, showing that people like having different options when it comes to cars.

Farley thinks that having a variety of cars will help Ford compete, especially as more companies start making electric cars. He believes they need to change the way they make cars and make them more efficiently to stay ahead.
