Miles Hudson, known as the “Belltown Hellcat” in Seattle, has gained attention on social media for breaking many rules in his neighborhood. Now, he might have to stop because the Seattle city attorney wants him to pay $83,619.97 in fines and fees. Hudson’s lawyer didn’t comment on this.
The problem is the noise Hudson makes. He drives a fast Dodge Charger SRT and has disturbed his neighbors with loud noise. He even posted a video of himself driving over 100 miles per hour in downtown Seattle. Earlier, a judge told him not to drive his car, but he kept driving it. He says he didn’t do anything wrong.
The police stopped him many times for speeding and for having a loud exhaust system. He paid a fine for that. People living in tall buildings nearby said they could feel their windows shake when he drove by. One resident said it sounded like loud backfiring.
Recently, someone noticed Hudson’s car parked in a spot for disabled people and had it towed away. We don’t know where it is now.
The city attorney sued Hudson on May 7 and asked him to respond within 20 days. He didn’t respond by the deadline last Thursday. Now, the city wants him to pay about $83,200 for breaking the noise rules, plus other costs. There will be a court hearing on June 18.
