A unique luxury condo in Auckland, New Zealand, is currently on the market, featuring a rotating car bed that would make any Batman fan swoon. The 300-square-meter apartment in the 155-meter-high Metropolis Tower is a Gotham City-themed masterpiece with imported marble and onyx walls and floors.

The home’s centerpiece is a Chevy Impala parked on a rotating platform in the center of a bedroom. Despite its unconventional design, the condo boasts four bedrooms, making it suitable for families.

The current owners, who purchased the property from tech billionaire Charles Shrimpton over a decade ago, have spent years renovating the space to their exacting standards. The condo is the only one of its kind in New Zealand, with real estate agents claiming they’ve never seen anything like it.

The high-end condo, notorious for its extravagant engineering feats, is now on the market. Hidden doors, hydraulic openings, and ceiling-mounted TVs are just a few of the features that make this apartment stand out.

However, the real showstopper is the Chevrolet Impala parked in the living room. The license plate, “Divorce3,” offers a poignant clue as to why the owner is selling. One can’t help but wonder what vehicles adorned the plates “Divorce1” and “Divorce2.”

The Impala’s arrival was nothing short of spectacular. A helicopter, flown in from Australia due to New Zealand’s lack of suitable aircraft, was required to lift the car to the penthouse.

Local traffic was halted to accommodate the unusual delivery. The seller described the experience as thrilling, recounting how the pilot even had his leg hanging out of the helicopter door during the precarious maneuver.
