ABT Sportsline, known for its performance enhancing upgrades, has turned its attention to the 2024 Audi SQ8. Following the success of their modifications for the pre-facelift Q8 family, including the RS Q8, ABT has introduced a new set of enhancements for the mid-cycle refresh. While the focus here is on the SQ8, the tuner also offers performance upgrades for the standard Q8.
The stock SQ8, equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivers 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. ABT’s Power S package takes this powertrain to new heights, boosting output to an impressive 641 horsepower and 627 pound feet of torque. This level of performance surpasses even the RS Q8 Performance, which offers 632 horsepower and identical torque.
While specific performance figures for the tuned SQ8 haven’t been released, it’s likely to match or even exceed the acceleration and top speed of the RS Q8 Performance, which boasts a 0-62 mph time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph. ABT Sportsline has not only boosted the SQ8’s performance but also given it a more aggressive look with a comprehensive body kit.
The new front spoiler, fender add ons, rear skirt, and rear spoiler, combined with the quad exhaust system and larger 22 or 23 inch wheels, transform the SUV coupe into a truly eye catching vehicle.
Inside, carbon fiber accents, an illuminated push start button, and backlit door sills add a touch of luxury and exclusivity. ABT’s tasteful approach to tuning, which enhances performance and aesthetics without going overboard, sets a high standard for the aftermarket industry.
