Audi is amping up its electric game with exciting additions to the A6 e-tron family. A new base model joins the lineup, boasting an impressive range and a focus on affordability. This rear-wheel drive variant delivers a punchy 321 horsepower with launch control, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in a brisk 6 seconds.
Both the sportback and avant body styles offer impressive range, reaching up to 382 and 361 miles respectively on a single charge. The 83 kWh battery can be replenished quickly using a fast charger, with a 10-80% charge taking just 21 minutes. But that’s not all Audi has also introduced a new quattro all wheel drive option, offering even more power and performance.
Audi has revealed its latest electric offerings, the A6 Sportback e-tron and A6 Avant e-tron. These sleek sedans and wagons boast impressive performance figures, with a 0-62 mph time of 4.7 seconds, dropping to 4.5 seconds with launch control engaged.
The top speed is electronically limited to 130 mph. Powering these vehicles is a 100 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 438 miles for the Sportback and 415 miles for the Avant. The 270 kW charging capability allows for rapid charging, adding up to 192 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
Pricing for the A6 e-tron family starts at £62,500 for the Sportback and £64,300 for the Avant, with higher trims and performance variants commanding premium prices. Orders for these electric Audis open on October 31, with deliveries expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025.
