Audi’s electric vehicle (EV) sales are thriving, leading to the expansion of the 2025 e-tron GT lineup. The new offerings include the Audi S e-tron GT, the Audi RS e-tron GT, and the Audi RS e-tron GT performance, which introduces a 912-horsepower performance model. This expansion marks a significant move for Audi in the EV market, offering more variety for electric car buyers.
Challenges in the EV Market and Audi’s Strong Position
The electric vehicle sector faces challenges in 2025, with Toyota focusing on hybrid technology, GM scaling back EV production, and Ford diversifying powertrains. Despite these hurdles, Audi is performing well, especially with its Q-series SUV e-tron models. The expansion of the e-tron GT family underscores Audi’s commitment to electric cars, capitalizing on its strong financial standing and growing demand for EVs.

The 2025 e-tron GT models come with significant technological advancements, including new suspension systems that improve comfort and driving performance. Additionally, all models benefit from the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture developed by Audi and Porsche. These changes result in better overall driving range, charging capabilities, and driving experience, enhancing the appeal of Audi’s electric sedans.
Performance Variants Offer Different Levels of Speed and Power
The three e-tron GT variants cater to different driving preferences. The Audi S e-tron GT offers 670 horsepower and a 0-to-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, striking a balance between performance and elegance. The RS e-tron GT ups the performance with 844 horsepower and a 2.8-second 0-to-100 km/h time. The RS e-tron GT performance takes it further with 912 horsepower and a rapid 2.5-second 0-to-100 km/h time.
The 2025 e-tron GT models feature improved range and faster charging capabilities. With the ability to cover up to 378 miles on a single charge, based on the WLTP European rating system, the e-tron GT offers practicality for long trips. Additionally, the cars can gain up to 174 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging, making them more convenient for everyday use. Pricing for the U.S. market has not been confirmed yet.
