Jeep’s Avenger continues to be one of the company’s strongest-selling models in Europe. The Jeep Avenger Stargazer has been created in partnership with DarkSky UK to promote night sky appreciation. An internal Jeep study also revealed that many Brits experience “cosmic confusion.”
Only a handful of brands in today’s automotive landscape continue to be truly “expressive.” Most manufacturers are now required to deliver more conventional vehicles to meet shifting market expectations.
Jeep, however, has managed to maintain its identity by offering proven off-road machines while also appealing to a wider audience. A clear example is the Avenger, the smallest model in Jeep’s entire lineup, which arrives with the 4xe powertrain. It is now receiving a unique, one-off special edition.
Since the Avenger’s debut in 2022, it has quickly become a standout favorite for the brand in Europe. Given the region’s narrower roads and compact cities, the small Jeep 4xe has resonated perfectly with buyers seeking practicality blended with adventure. Now, Jeep is introducing a one-off special version called the Avenger Stargazer.
Riding on the model’s growing popularity, Jeep Europe has used the Avenger as the foundation for a bespoke creation that celebrates a particular aspect of outdoor culture. The Jeep Avenger Stargazer is, as its name implies, designed for those who enjoy observing the night sky.
This special model is the result of a collaboration between Jeep and the non-profit organization DarkSky UK, with the goal of encouraging people to “go out and explore the night sky.”

Part of Jeep’s justification for this project comes from a study the company conducted, revealing that many Brits experience “cosmos confusion,” with nearly one-third (32%) acknowledging limited knowledge of the night sky and 33% admitting they would have trouble identifying Orion’s Belt.
Another motivation behind this collaboration is the introduction of a new trim level called the Avenger Summit SkyView. This version includes a sunroof, navigation, hands-free tailgate, and passive entry. The Summit SkyView trim is scheduled to become available for order in Q1 2026.
The Stargazer concept fully embraces its mission by incorporating an extensive range of features and technology specifically aimed at enhancing stargazing. It includes a smart telescope integrated into the sunroof that can be operated via a smart device inside the vehicle.
Additionally, a custom-built cabinet installed in the trunk stores all the essential equipment required for a night spent exploring the cosmos: the telescope and mount, binoculars, red-light head torches, touchscreen-compatible gloves, and weatherproof clothing.
As an added visual highlight, the Avenger Stargazer is covered in a reflective wrap that illustrates various elements of the night sky, including notable constellations and planets. Inside, the cabin lighting is red instead of the standard white or yellow, minimizing light pollution to make stargazing more effective.
It remains uncertain whether the Avenger or the Avenger Stargazer Concept will make their way to the United States. For the moment, it’s best not to expect it, as Stellantis does not yet have firm plans for a US launch.
