If you think supercars define the limits of roadgoing insanity, think again. The Polaris Slingshot remains one of the most extreme vehicles you can legally drive on public roads, and for 2026, it returns with five distinct variants, including the limited-run Grand Touring model, which adds a touch of luxury to the brand’s famously unfiltered three-wheeler.

The Grand Touring model makes its comeback in small numbers, featuring a T-top roof that offers additional protection from the elements while dialing back the raw, exposed feel slightly. It’s still unmistakably a Slingshot, just with a more refined edge.

Built on the range-topping R trim, the Grand Touring is powered by Polaris’ ProStar 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 204 horsepower. Buyers can choose between a traditional manual gearbox or the AutoDrive automatic transmission. Brembo brakes come standard, as does a vented sport hood for added performance flair.

Inside, the Grand Touring leans heavily into comfort and tech. It features a Rockford Fosgate four-speaker audio system, an interior lighting package that can be controlled via smartphone, and heated and ventilated seats with custom stitching and power adjustment.

Externally, the model stands out with a striking black and iridescent green metallic paint finish. That said, the rest of the Slingshot lineup also offers eye-catching color options, and for buyers craving maximum intensity, the more stripped-back variants may still be the better choice.

Across the SL, SLR, and R trims, Polaris introduces three new iridescent paint schemes for 2026. Including the Grand Touring’s green finish, the lineup gains five new colors.

The SL model can be had in White Lightning or Sunburst Orange, while both SL and SLR trims gain access to Blue Rush. The SLR also adds Mirage Gray to its palette. The R model, identifiable by its black badging, offers Radiant Gray with Red Indy Pearl or a pearlescent White Crystal with Mint Fade. Buyers who prefer a subtler look can opt for Midnight Smoke, a matte metallic finish exclusive to the R.

New wheel designs also join the range. Both SLR and R trims can be equipped with five-spoke honeycomb wheels designed to improve brake cooling. This option is new for the SLR and returns for the R, with both versions finished in gloss black to complement the R’s dark badging.

The 2026 Polaris Slingshot S starts at $24,999 and is available in Slingshot Red or Jet Black. Stepping up to the SL brings a starting price of $28,299, with White Lightning, Blue Rush, and Sunburst Orange paint options.

The SLR begins at $31,399 and is offered in Blue Rush or Mirage Gray. The R trim carries a base MSRP of $34,999 and comes in Midnight Smoke, Radiant Gray with Indy Red Pearl, or White Crystal with Mint Fade.

At the top of the range, the Grand Touring model is priced from $41,499 and is offered exclusively in a two-tone Viper Black with Green Venom finish.

Choosing the AutoDrive automatic transmission adds $1,850 to the price on all trims except the R and Grand Touring, where the upgrade costs $2,150. The full 2026 Polaris Slingshot lineup is scheduled to arrive at dealerships later this month.
