Nissan has announced changes to its U.S. manufacturing leadership, naming Victor Taylor as Division Vice President overseeing US Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Management and Production Engineering.
The move is part of the automaker’s multi-year Re:Nissan transformation plan and expands Taylor’s responsibilities across all three of Nissan’s U.S. production facilities, with an emphasis on tighter operational alignment, stronger supplier relationships and improved production flexibility.
Taylor has served as Vice President of Manufacturing at Nissan’s Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Mississippi since December 2023. In his new role, he will take a broader view of U.S. manufacturing, supply chain coordination and production engineering, drawing on his extensive background in advanced manufacturing. Taylor joined Nissan in 2016 and brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the position.

Succeeding Taylor at the Canton plant will be Ricardo Anguiano, who takes on the role of Vice President of Operations effective 15 December. Anguiano began his career with Nissan México in 1996 and has held a range of leadership positions at the Canton facility since 2012, giving him deep familiarity with the plant’s operations and workforce.
In a statement, David Johnson, Regional Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Purchasing at Nissan Americas, said:
“Victor’s proven leadership across our US manufacturing and supply chain operations will be pivotal in accelerating this transformation, strengthening production line agility, deepening supplier partnerships, and optimising total delivered cost to ensure Nissan can respond with speed and precision to evolving markets.”
