The Rolls-Royce Spectre, designed as a nearly silent electric luxury coupe, has been transformed by tuner Mansory into a bold statement.

The latest custom build, part of the Spectre “Equista” program and shown in the extreme Linea d’Oro specification, adds a carbon fiber wide-body kit, 24-inch wheels, extensive gold detailing, and a notable feature: external speakers mounted under the rear bumper that broadcast artificial combustion-engine noises.

Mechanically, Mansory leaves the Spectre’s standard powertrain unchanged. It retains Rolls-Royce’s dual-motor electric setup, producing approximately 585 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, which enables a 0–62 mph acceleration time in the mid-four-second range and a WLTP-rated range just over 300 miles.

The unconventional addition is found in the rear diffuser, where integrated outward-facing speakers play synthesized engine sounds while driving.

The factory vehicle already includes standard pedestrian-warning sounds, but Mansory’s system is explicitly a theatrical feature designed to inject the dramatic auditory presence typically associated with a V12 engine.

This aligns with the tuner’s reputation for amplifying the character of already expressive vehicles. In that context, adding fake “exhaust” noise to an electric Rolls-Royce could be considered relatively restrained, at least in concept.

Visually, the Spectre Equista Linea d’Oro is anything but subtle. The coupe’s original smooth bodywork is covered by a full carbon fiber wide-body kit.

This includes a vented hood, a more aggressive front bumper with larger intakes, deep side skirts, widened fenders, and a racing-inspired rear diffuser equipped with a central rain light.

The 24-inch forged wheels fill the expanded wheel arches, and a lowered ride height gives the vehicle a stance more reminiscent of a GT race car than a production Rolls-Royce.

The Linea d’Oro treatment lavishes gold accents on numerous elements, including the grille surround, bumper details, side trim, diffuser components, and body pinstripes.

Inside, white leather upholstery with gold piping, custom quilting, and Mansory logos covers most surfaces, complemented by matching metallic accents on air vents and switchgear. This “more is more” philosophy mirrors Mansory’s approach on other high-end vehicles, such as a prior G-Class SUV project.

Final pricing varies based on a customer’s selection of options, but one completed Spectre Equista Linea d’Oro build has been quoted at approximately $1.6 million. This figure encompasses the cost of the base vehicle, the extensive body modifications, the custom interior, and the gold embellishments.

The external engine-sound speakers represent just one component of this considerable investment, yet they are perhaps the most symbolic.

Mansory recognizes that certain clients desire their electric flagship to announce its presence as audibly as a traditional V12-powered car, and the company is prepared to deliver exactly that.
